THE MAESTRO
Andy Adames is an Emmy award-winning producer known for his timeless perspective and artistic flair. In his extensive portfolio Andy has garnered awards as a director, director of photography, producer, editor, and composer while collaborating with a diverse array of clients. Fueled by genuine curiosity and an unwavering passion for excellence, he consistently delivers outstanding results. Andy is an artist at his core and has honed a unique, multifaceted approach during his nearly twenty year tenure in the industry.
Andy’s passion for music and film began in the 1980s with a walkman and weekly trips to a neighborhood corner store on the northwest side of Chicago to rent movies. He spent his early twenties as a gigging musician, often writing original music and exploring audio engineering to create a perfectly orchestrated sound. In 2009 Andy composed music for an award-winning pro-life short film and Sonic Palette was born shortly after. Andy continued to produce compositions for several award-winning indie short films before purchasing a DSLR for a passion project with his wife Amber in 2015. After learning Ableton Live for music composition Andy promised himself that he wouldn’t learn another editing software, but that promise was quickly broken after filming their passion project. Andy learned how to use Premiere Pro while editing their passion project and quickly realized that he enjoyed video production. In 2017 Andy began working in the video production field full-time, leveraging his extensive experience as an artist.
Andy lives in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee with his wife and two sons. When he’s not creating a visual masterpiece for a client you can find him looking through the viewfinder of a film camera, watching baseball, or building lego sets with his boys.
